you're on the phone. It's ideal for families with
teenagers, the socially active, roommates,
small businesses and home offices.

How It Works:
A short tone alerts you when someone is trying to call
while you are on the phone. You have the option of
putting the first caller on hold while you answer the
second call.
To Activate Service:
Briefly depress the button (switch-hook or disconnect
button). To reconnect to the first caller, briefly depress
the button again. You can alternate between callers as
often as you like, or terminate either call.
To Deactivate Service:
If you wish to deactivate Call Waiting for the duration
of a call, press *70 before you place the call. For
instance, when you connect to your Internet Service
Provider, you may want to add *70, in front of the
Provider's connect number so that you will not be
disconnected from the Internet by an unwanted caller.
