BTC to Implement New Billing System

The Bermuda Telephone Company (BTC) is moving to a new billing system. BTC expects to be able to noticeably improve the level of service to its customers with the introduction of this new system.

The billing system is the product of US-based billing and customer management specialists Martin Group. The company is a nationwide leader in software solutions for communication providers.

“We selected Martin Group because of their strong reputation and the level of expertise that they can bring to this process. We are confident that they can help us achieve our goal of consistently improving efficiency and maintaining our customer-focus,” commented Francis Mussenden, President & CEO of BTC.

“This new system will feature an integrated service delivery and customer information management platform, and is designed to reduce the time it takes to serve our customers”, Mr. Mussenden said.

The introduction of the new system will bring a number of customer benefits, the most visible of which will be a new bill format. When the migration process has been completed, BTC customers will receive an easy to read, itemized bill which will provide more detailed account information.

Over the next few weeks BTC will be issuing more information about the new system, and how customers can take advantage of all of its many benefits. Customers should also visit the BTC website at www.btc.bm for updates.
