MDR-2000 and MDR-2000e

COMPACT, HIGHLY VERSATILE DEVICE. The MDR-2000 Intelligent Storage Device collects, stores, and downloads information from remote or local telephone systems. Designed for maintenance-free operation, this microprocessor-based system can simultaneously handle call detail recording translation, alarm monitoring, and traffic data. The unit easily connects to your telephone system and PC, and takes up a minimum amount of space in an equipment room. 'Keep-alive' circuitry and battery backup ensure that it keeps running during power failures. Compatible with almost any telephone system, the MDR-2000 is used worldwide by commercial service bureaus, network providers, and multi-site operations. The enhanced MDR-2000e provides all the benefits of the standard unit, plus it uses TCP/IP protocol to poll across your entire network valuable component for multiple site Wide Area Networks (WANs), or even single-site Local Area Networks (LANs), the MDR-2000e offers increased polling efficiency, decreased equipment costs, and cost savings on remote polling of long distance charges across your networks.

• Captures PBX alarms with automatic dial-out and centralized polling - Memory size up to 8 Megs and more than 300,000 individual calls
• Employs intelligent record-processing technology with remote diagnostic capability and remote programming of data collection options and translation parameters
• Record filtering and compression allow for faster transmission speeds and lower storage requirements
• Supports seven-digit extensions, internal calls, calling line identification fields, and more
• External modem and power supply facilitate standards compliance and local sourcing for international applications
