Step 1:
Order DSL . Once you have ordered service,
BTC will then proceed to convert your phone line to
our high-speed DSL line. This will take between 3 and
10 business days. A customer service representative
will contact you once your line is “DSL-ready.”
Step 2:
Visit a DSL Retailer and purchase your DSL
equipment - BTC certified DSL modem, filters, and
Ethernet card. Modems and other “start-up” equipment
must be purchased from DSL Retailers. BTC does not
sell DSL modems and other “start-up” equipment.
The price of the DSL equipment (Modem, Filters,
Ethernet card, etc.) will vary from Retailer to Retailer.
DSL Retailers will also be able to answer questions
about how to set up and configure your modem.
You may find it easier to allow a DSL Retailer to install
the modem, Ethernet Card, etc. If this is the case,
you should contact any of the DSL Retailers for installation.
You may require additional equipment or applications
depending on the configuration of your system. DSL Retailers will provide assistance for any queries.

Step 3:
Inform your ISP (Internet Service Provider) that you
will be using DSL Service. They will need to provide
you with PPPOE software (Point-to-Point Protocol over
Ethernet). You will also need to select your DSL
package from your ISP. If you are not registered with
an ISP, click here for the names and telephone numbers
of ISP capable of supporting DSL service.
