We know how important your business and equipment are. At the BTC facility there are many levels of security. Our facility is protected 24x7, 365 days. Access is controlled by security clearance, palm scan identification and swipe card access.

- Swipe card access at the main gate of BTC's Central Office
- Telephone clearance by 24 hour security
- Hand verification or palm readers at the main door of the Colocation Centre
- Keys will be provided to access the main door
- Each E-Suite, Full Rack and Half Rack will be secured with key access
- 24 / 7 video camera monitoring
- 24 / 7 computerized monitoring that can page up to four different people
Security Technology
- A card reader system
- PC database Hand Geometry Verification
- Internal security cameras with digitized signal recorded to super VHS machines
Safety
- Dual redundant electrical feeds: Live feed and Switched feed
- Backed up by a two-way generator
- Three 125 Ton air conditioning units
- 50 Tons dedicated for the Colocation Centre
- 46OV generator back-up for air conditioning providing 100% redundancy
- Power generator located on the ground floor
- Monitored by power monitoring equipment
- FM200 Fire Suppression with Air Sampling System
- Dual monitoring of fire system to BTC's Central Station and also directly to the Bermuda Fire Department
- Water detection system at floor level
